The Autism Spectrum Assessment Clinic (ASAC) is a specialty clinic within the University of Miami's Department of Psychology dedicated to providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related social, communication or developmental differences.
ASAC is a training clinic dedicated to teaching future psychologists and contributing to meaningful research. Thus, services are provided by licensed psychologists and/or unlicensed psychology trainees. In all cases, psychology trainees are supervised by a licensed psychologist. Given that ASAC is a training clinic, our services may not be appropriate for some individuals who require a higher level of care. As such, we have the right to refuse services to any person who is not deemed appropriate to be seen in this setting and/or by unlicensed psychology trainees.
